Hercules & Love Affair caught my attention back in March when they released "Blind", a classic throwback to the days of disco and to be honest, damn welcome.
From New York's DJ Andy Butler, H&PA have gained members liked Anthony Hegarty (Of Anthony & The Johnsons fame), Nomi Ruiz and Kim Ann Foxman, one stonkin' lineup by any measurement. Gaining the attention of Hotline and Frankie Knuckles didn't do them any harm either; I'll lose some friends for posting these remixes, but to be honest they've fired up my club spirits after finding them. Seriously, stick this on before going out and nothing can go wrong.
I could say so much more about H&LA, but I'd either bore you or tell you what you already knew; I'll leave you to listen.
